Lamia is a world in the Lamia System for which it is named. It is a planet in the Lambdadelta Sector amd is thus involved in the ongoing war between the Earth Federation and the Centauri Confederacy. Though the planet itself is perfectly habitable, the conflict has limited the colonization process. It has one space colony, Station S37 in orbit, which was the site of the failed peace treaty signing between the warring nations the led to the Second Battle of Lamia and the renewel of hostilities. As of February 15, 2999 it is under the control of the Earth Federation.
